Bangalore-Yelagiri-Chennai

Image
On the evening of Friday, June 14th, our family embarked on an adventure from the tranquil J.R. Green Park in Bangalore. At around 4:30 PM, we set off, our hearts brimming with excitement and anticipation for the delightful discoveries that lay ahead. As we journeyed on, we paused for dinner at Jain’s Padmavathi Hotel in Yelagiri. There, we indulged in a variety of dosas – podi dosa, masala dosa, and set dosa – each tasty in its own right, though not exceptional. The coffee proved to be the perfect energizer we needed for the remainder of our drive. The crisp evening air and the hotel’s warm lighting provided a welcoming atmosphere. By 9:30 PM, we arrived at Thangakottai, a palatial resort illuminated by enchanting lights that accentuated its grandeur. The restaurant, with its ceiling fans reminiscent of those from ancient royal courts, was particularly striking. After a hearty meal, we retired to our cozy and inviting rooms. The following morning greeted us with a buffet breakfast tha...

Therapeutic Thuppa

Image
The aroma of freshly made Thuppa is simply therapeutic! It brings back memories of sitting on the kitchen slab as Athe makes fresh ghee, with her tips, "Chocolate color bandare sari aydu heli Suma," still echoing in my mind. Sitting on the kitchen slab with my tiny partner, loving the whole scene, is indescribable. 🤗♥️ Dancing around with happiness as the aroma fills the air is pure bliss. And then, sharing our food together in our cozy little spot—these will be my cherished memories when I have grey hairs and sit with my knitting wools. 🥰 I couldn't resist savoring the aroma of this golden ghee just before bed, even after breathing it in countless times already. Having my tiny partner, who also loves doing this, took my happiness to the next level. 😍🥰 Such a therapy it is!!  Our Home ♥️ We three🥰 The Warm Kitchen ✨️

My Addiction 🥰

I am so addicted to you, my lil heart! It's incredibly hard to break free from this addiction.  Late at night, when you jump on me and caress my face with those little fingers, I just want to smoooooosh you! After playing with both Appa & me, finally, when you fall asleep with your head on my arms, one leg on Appa's tummy, and another on me, that's when Appa and I talk about how our lives have changed in a beautiful way!Your giggles are like soothing drugs! The way you do "Kondaaata" is therapeutic. I can't get enough of it! I want to remember every subtle detail of yours, but I know I forget sometimes. The way your face lights up when we play "kooki," that shy face looking at Appa, the way you run in no time, climb the steps to reach Hatti and talk to Umbakka, the way you enjoy the breeze, and the way you love troubling me to put on your clothes by going far away and sitting on the window pane. When I act as if I have disappeared by hiding benea...

Living in Love!!!!!

Image
Every passing second, every fleeting minute spent with my little heart is like gathering pearls from oysters! Certainly, there are moments of frustration and annoyance—days when his playful stunts accidently cause a bit of chaos, like bumping his head into delicate areas, resulting in a fever that lasted for a couple of days, or leaving a trail of spilled food just after I've cleaned up, and so on😒 But amidst it all, the love he fills me with surpasses any frustration. The way he tugs on my pants to pull me away from the kitchen, his cries for me to lift him up, and especially in the evenings when he decides it's cuddle time, wrapping his tiny arms around my neck. With the windows wide open, the scent of Parijata filling the air, and that heart-melting smile—nothing compares🥰😘  There are truly no words to capture the joy that the little boy brings into our lives. Whether the way he eagerly runs behind his grandma during her walks, his playful jumps on his Appa while he loung...
