Maggi moments with our πŸ’™πŸ€—

It was a cozy Saturday midnight πŸŒ™, just the two of us in our snug little spot, chatting about things we love. Now, we’ve got a new midnight buddy — our little boy, always joining in the fun. πŸ’›That night, cravings hit, and we spotted those babycorns chilling in the fridge πŸ₯Ά. Before we knew it, they were tossed into boiling water to make some warm, comforting Maggi 🍜. Our lil boy, perched on the kitchen slab, took charge and started cooking his own version of Maggi for us! πŸ‘¨‍🍳With the sweetest voice, he explained how he was going to enjoy every bite of those peas and babycorns. πŸ₯¬πŸŒ½In the quiet of the night, with our lil chef and steaming Maggi by our side, it became one of the warmest, most cherished memories ever. πŸ’–

Cradle Cuddles to Kalle BeleπŸ₯°

You've grown up so fast, from those sweet moments of just twinkling your eyes in the cradle. Now, you're jumping in and out of the cot, giggling as you pounce on your Appa, and I can't help but smile, knowing you've inherited my genes of teasing him endlessly.  Who would have thought that adding a little "kadale Bele" could bring so much 😍? Ever since, I've been finding ways to sneak it into everything I do, just so I can see that happiness light up your face when you say "kalle Bele , kalle Bele" with such excitement. It's priceless. I love watching you enjoy every bite of food, especially when I make unde. The way you jump up and down, shouting "Amma, unde, unde, unde!" makes my heart soar.  And when I make ghee, you want me to lift you up so you can smell the fresh ghee, just like I love taking in its rich aroma. The way you tell, "Amma, Thoppa, Thoppa" is !!!!!!!  The way you laugh, the way you sometimes cry, needing m...

From Lullabies to Laughter: Our Sweet MemoriesπŸ₯°

Image
πŸŒŸ It’s amazing to see how much you’ve grown. From the days when I used to admire your tiny fingers as a newborn πŸ‘Ά, to now, watching you explore the world as a curious little toddler—almost two years old! It’s hard to believe how fast time is flying. I can’t help but smile every time I come home and see your laughter , even though it disappears as soon as you spot me, only to be replaced by that eager look, waiting for a big hug πŸ€—. Those moments when you wrap your little arms around me πŸ₯°, when I get to admire your beautiful smile πŸ˜„ and hear your sweet laughter, are the highlights of my day. The way you want me to keep cuddling you, the way you want me to be with you, fills my heart with more love than I ever thought possible πŸ’–. And the way you tell things in your own adorable way—I just can’t get enough of it. I love every bit of it, and I never want it to end. 🌈 There are nights when you just don’t want to sleep at all. You keep switching the light on and off, giggling, wa...

A Mother's Unbreakable Bond: Love Beyond the Years!!!!

Image
That morning was particularly tough. As I was about to leave for the bus, hearing him call out “Ma, Ma, Ma” and seeing his tears really tugged at my heart. It filled my eyes with tears, just like any other mother would feel in that moment. It made me think of all the times mothers might have had to scold or discipline their child, not because they wanted to, but because they were overwhelmed with so many chores and responsibilities. Meanwhile, the child just wanted to be close, to feel their mother’s presence. That day, my colleague, sitting next to me, noticed my distress and gently consoled me. She said, “Don’t worry, don’t feel guilty, whether you’re working or not working. Every mother feels guilt sometimes because when she’s caught up with other tasks, she may not be able to give the attention her baby is asking for.” It struck a chord with me. My own son, who’s already in grade 7, had just that morning asked me to let him sleep for another five minutes. He was hugging me so ...

Therapeutic Thuppa

Image
The aroma of freshly made Thuppa is simply therapeutic! It brings back memories of sitting on the kitchen slab as Athe makes fresh ghee, with her tips, "Chocolate color bandare sari aydu heli Suma," still echoing in my mind. Sitting on the kitchen slab with my tiny partner, loving the whole scene, is indescribable. πŸ€—♥️ Dancing around with happiness as the aroma fills the air is pure bliss. And then, sharing our food together in our cozy little spot—these will be my cherished memories when I have grey hairs and sit with my knitting wools. πŸ₯° I couldn't resist savoring the aroma of this golden ghee just before bed, even after breathing it in countless times already. Having my tiny partner, who also loves doing this, took my happiness to the next level. 😍πŸ₯° Such a therapy it is!!  Our Home ♥️ We threeπŸ₯° The Warm Kitchen ✨️

My Addiction πŸ₯°

I am so addicted to you, my lil heart! It's incredibly hard to break free from this addiction.  Late at night, when you jump on me and caress my face with those little fingers, I just want to smoooooosh you! After playing with both Appa & me, finally, when you fall asleep with your head on my arms, one leg on Appa's tummy, and another on me, that's when Appa and I talk about how our lives have changed in a beautiful way!Your giggles are like soothing drugs! The way you do "Kondaaata" is therapeutic. I can't get enough of it! I want to remember every subtle detail of yours, but I know I forget sometimes. The way your face lights up when we play "kooki," that shy face looking at Appa, the way you run in no time, climb the steps to reach Hatti and talk to Umbakka, the way you enjoy the breeze, and the way you love troubling me to put on your clothes by going far away and sitting on the window pane. When I act as if I have disappeared by hiding benea...

Living in Love!!!!!

Image
Every passing second, every fleeting minute spent with my little heart is like gathering pearls from oysters! Certainly, there are moments of frustration and annoyance—days when his playful stunts accidently cause a bit of chaos, like bumping his head into delicate areas, resulting in a fever that lasted for a couple of days, or leaving a trail of spilled food just after I've cleaned up, and so onπŸ˜’ But amidst it all, the love he fills me with surpasses any frustration. The way he tugs on my pants to pull me away from the kitchen, his cries for me to lift him up, and especially in the evenings when he decides it's cuddle time, wrapping his tiny arms around my neck. With the windows wide open, the scent of Parijata filling the air, and that heart-melting smile—nothing comparesπŸ₯°πŸ˜˜  There are truly no words to capture the joy that the little boy brings into our lives. Whether the way he eagerly runs behind his grandma during her walks, his playful jumps on his Appa while he loung...
