The Rocky Hill silently spoke many things!

There are a few places around us which are alluring. They hypnotize us making us to stay there for long time, simply admiring at it with a pleasant mind. One such place was Kaiwara, a small town which is just 65km away from Bengaluru city. It is known to people because of Saint Narayanappa who is popularly known as Kaiwara Thathaiah.
As a little boy he was influenced by his parents Kondappa-Muddamma who led a prayerful life. They worshipped Amara Nareyana. His father was a bangle seller which Thathayya had taken up after his marriage. He always had a desire to know the path of self realization. Though he was a bangle seller he neither had greed for making profit nor he asked for the actual cost. He only accepted money if they gave it to him. As said by Swami Vivekananda “When all the desires are given up the vey man becomes god”,young Narayanappa had given up all his desires. He left home, meditated in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Cave and attained inner happiness, a never ending happiness through Rasagrahana. He lived for 110 years after which he announced Icha Marana(Self Death) and we can see the Sajeeva Samadhi even today.Thathayya has written many poems in praise of Amara Nareyana. Many of his work spills light on the internal yoga.
The temple provide tasty food. The dining  room was very clean ,the staffs were kind. The place thus serves food for hungry souls in every way.
