It’s beautiful to love her every bit anonymously…

The big vintage clock showed 11:45 when her phone rang that morning. Aabha wondered why Sakshi was calling her. She picked the call, even before she answered hello Sakshi started the conversation. She said “You know what happened?! I had typed what I’m undergoing because of Shankar in the notepad. I had copied it meanwhile Shankar called me. After the call by mistake I sent it to him which I realised a few minutes ago. Aabha asked Sakshi if she had got any reply even though she knew the answer was NO. Aabha consoled Sakshi in her usual way.

The cab dropped her at the door step, she walked towards the door with fear filled stomach. She took out the door key as she used to reach home before Shankar. Her stomach had an unusual feeling because of fear, the open door added to it. She did not want to show her face to Shankar as she was too scared. She simply went inside the room even though she knew Shankar was in the kitchen. By the time she came out of the room Shankar had placed mugs of fuming hot frothy coffee. He offered one to Sakshi and asked if she could spend some time with him at the balcony. Her fear started growing bigger and bigger. They both sat at the balcony. Shankar stroked her head gently and said “I know how much you are hurt but I’m glad that you told me before its too late” with a smile. Sakshi as suggested by Aabha said that she was too scared to tell it directly so she had texted him. He said “It is almost a year that we are married, have I ever shouted at you or have I made any fuss?! with a same smile. She felt within "It is so true as he had hardly spoke to me".

Shankar read her face smiled again without speaking a word. He sipped some coffee, took a deep breath, sat quietly for sometime meanwhile her fear was growing! He said “I realized my silence, my attitude towards social media, least interest towards furnishing the house and many more things have hurt you the most”. She did not say anything.

Shankar asked her to keep her eyes closed for some time but she opened her eyes within a few seconds. He asked her close her eyes at least for a minute again. This time he gently blew her eyes immediately she smiled with her cheeks turning pink. He asked how she had felt after that. She said “Cool Breeze”. After this he repeated the same but this time, she was more conscious. He asked the same thing. She said with a bigger smile “cool breeze, your warmth, caressing plants, silence of nature….” so soothing. He said its always silence that speaks more. I may not speak more but just by the sound of your anklets I can say if you are tired or not. I may not appreciate you by my words but I love every bite of food that you make if you had observed me keenly you might have noticed.
He said “It’s not that I’m a cheese-parer that I do not want to spend on furniture, lesser the things around us easier the life becomes. I might have not uploaded any pictures on social media each time we go on road trips. This is because I want it to be treasured just for us, I feel its beautiful to love her every bit, her warmth, her vitality, her fragrance, her sound, her color, her open arms, her silence anonymously. That evening she had discovered a beautiful person!

The next road trip was a wonderful chapter in their lives. Sakshi witnessed every bit of her love. They enjoyed every wave, the rain showered trees, the breeze and of course her silence anonymously. This time she writes in her diary “When we live close to nature, she opens her hidden secret to us, she embraces us with her open arms, she provides solution for every problem, she loves us more and more “and I learnt this from you.

Shankar silently loved the change in her attitude.
