Old Monk to kick start the day!
She had reached the office early, that too she had a good breakfast at her home! This had already boosted her which made rest of the things better. That evening sipping her cup of coffee had a special happiness. She had a complete day, That’s the power of planning said the old man (monk?)
After
the long gap, she had to go back to the office. It was no more work from home,
travelling being inevitable waking up early was the key! From past couple of
weeks her grandpa was watching her routine, her frustration, helplessness.
Following Saturday evening he made her sit by his side, caressing her carefully
he told her a few stories that she enjoyed listening. He then explained how
important it is to have a plan and the firm mind to execute it! He helped her
chalk out the plan, Sunday she had jumped into her bed with her socks on after
keeping her dress and bag ready. She had kept her phone away. Monday morning
when the alarm called, she woke up, rubbed her palm, and placed it on her eyes
by then her grandpa had already pulled the curtains of room and opened the
balcony door, while she brushed and did some exercises, grandpa had put on the
geyser. The long warm shower made her more active. As planned, she even
prepared the healthy breakfast, had it with grandpa sitting on the kitchen
floor. She could sip her coffee calmly before leaving to office.
She
loved the new change, she was happier. Whatever be the time when she went to
bed, she never missed her tratak the next day! Grandpa observed the improvement
in her health, there was no room for frustration she even had time to restart
her hobbies.
Looking
at the happy face of her grandpa in the frame, she brought back her memories.
There was a smile and tears at the same time! The last weekend before he passed
away both had a party at his favourite restaurant. She had thanked him for
giving a kick start to her life for which he had replied “I’m not an old man
I’m the old monk!!”
