The Devotion 😬

We all had been to Shirdi Saibaba Mandir. My parents, grandparents, sister, uncle, aunt, cousins so many pronouns! So was the queue. I only remember my first step towards the main sanctum rest was automated.

By the time I looked around and tried to figure out what is going on ,I had reached almost at the main sanctum. I could not find any of my people with whom I had started. There was an old couple who were talking to Pandit Ji and they picked some savouries lying at the Baba's feet. It was my turn to meet Baba after them.I waited, felt their conversation was too long, felt why waste the time and started filling the sweets and savouries from the heap.Pandit ji said namaskar and they just left. In the nick of time I was pushed to the exit already, I peeped from there to bid bye to baba(He bid me bye?!)

I came out and within a couple of minutes found my people. My sister and cousins were looking at the  fat bag in my hand, google eyed. They pulled my hand and took me aside and asked how I managed to rob these things when the security was tight!

Now I was shocked 😳Rob?Why would I do that traveling all the way here to lose my sins!

I explained them that the couple had picked some savouries so I too picked a few ( a little more/ may be I had a bigger bag 😬)It's only then I realised we are supposed to put the sweets and savouries at his feet and only pick if Pandit ji advises to pick based on the seva tickets!

Later came my grandpa who shouted at me even when the securities and other people had no any problem πŸ₯² Rest of them were enjoying the live show hogging the sweets and savouries that Baba had given me.

Every time I visit mandir and the sight of people enjoying their Prasad, the flashback comes before me and I my eyes fills with tears!

People think it's out of devotion but it must be fine, I deserve it 😌
