After lunch, we all gathered in the cozy living room, the rain pouring outside the window, creating a soothing backdrop. Some of us were engrossed in the morning newspaper, others busily deleting chats on our phones. Maava, with a twinkle in his eye, stumbled upon an article about International Coffee Day, and an idea began to brew.

"We should celebrate International Coffee Day this evening," Maava suggested, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He volunteered to take charge of the little boy, who had been bouncing off the walls.

The coffee decoction steadily dripped in the kitchen, and Maava embarked on the challenging mission of lulling the hyperactive youngster to sleep. We, one by one, tiptoed to the doorway, stealing glances to check if the little one had finally succumbed to slumber.

As the clock struck 4, Maava could wait no longer. He appeared from the bedroom, demanding his well-deserved coffee. We all gathered around, sipping the fuming filter coffee, each in their own unique spot - one perched on the kitchen slab, another comfortably seated on the dining chair.

Laughter filled the room, and playful banter ensued as we enjoyed our coffee. But underneath the mirth, a shared apprehension lingered - what if the boy woke up from his nap?

In those moments, amidst the aroma of coffee and the warmth of togetherness, we cherished the simple joys of life. These coffee-fueled conversations, filled with love and laughter, were undeniably the highlight of our day.
