The Honey Cake...

As usual I was happily awaiting to annoy him😜 It was Friday evening and as soon as he came I started doing all possible things to annoy him:giving a call to his phone when he is busy with some work, hiding his belongings, tickling, asking if he wanted to eat some sweet as I was craving for it ,literally testing his patience and finally he said to me"You have crossed your limits!can you just stop all these.."

Even before he completed,I just coiled myself in one corner of our room with a pumpkin face.Meanwhile he came to me consoling with sweet words but I continued to be quiet .All his questions were answered in a word.And when he asked me to get ready so that we could go on a walk I refused.Somehow he managed to take me out for a walk.

   As we walked he asked if I wanted to have Hot jalebi?Chocolava?Kaju katli,...? For all these my answer remained same that was "no".He asked me not to make a pumpkin face.I remained quiet.

We reached Cakewala he asked them if they served Honey cake.I knew that they didn't serve but I didn't speak anything.They said no.Then to Sangam ...It went on.We were almost a few minutes away from home. Sushan did not give up.He had a last chance.He took me to Chef bakers even they didn't serve Honey cake. I was grinning within but outside it was the same pumpkin face.

I looked at him, his eyes were anxious.I felt guilty!I said him that I knew a shop which serves honey cake.His face got brightened.We were just a minute away from it.He took me there and bought me Fig n Honey cake.I looked at him he had a warm smile.I promised him saying" I will not promise again that I will not annoy you".Each time I promised ,I had annoyed him more than  before.He was controlling his laughter.

 Clasping our hands we walked back.Breeze caressing us.He chuckled and said"How much you enjoy putting me in trouble!"  and I grinned.

After completion of 9 months, the doctor advised to meet her once in two days. It was supposed to be one such appointment with her. I had made the class adjustment and even planned for lunch with my gals😬😋 There was a change of plan as the pain had triggered. the last 9 answer scripts were pending to be valued. He had valued those, reading the answers, in the hospital. The pain was gradually increasing. We sipped some hot ginger tea and awaited. Around 9 p.m., all my people were around, I walked in the corridor, looking at the light up cafés, coffee bars, roaring vehicles, and lounges talking to the lil 💙    By 10, they all went home. By 10:30 p.m., I started getting the real PAIN!!! It was then I realized its intensity. The nurse kept on monitoring the heartbeat every 1 hour. Emotional Rollercoaster: Riding the Waves of Dysphoria and Euphoria

The moment I was guided to breastfeed my newborn for the first time, I was flooded with emotions. Watching my little one latch on with such determination, as if he'd been practicing, filled me with overwhelming happiness. Yet, amidst the joy, there was a tinge of uncertainty. I longed for some time to recover from the delivery trauma and heal from the pains like any other mom. However, as days passed, I adapted. What truly brought peace was connecting with loved ones, sharing experiences with fellow moms, and indulging in some light-hearted stand-up comedy. Those moments of laughter and camaraderie made the journey a bit more adorable and manageable. Ah, truly, the heartwarming conversations over golden lattes, homemade chaklis, and sweet manni (rice fudge), with my darling moon-faced little one, were like rays of sunshine (Sonshine?!) on a cloudy day, filling me with the strength to rise above any feelings of blue!
