City Lights, Paneer Bites...

Once upon a lazy evening, when the day felt like it was stretching way too long, I found myself in that funny little place between wanting to do absolutely nothing and feeling a bit bored. So, I turned to Sushan and suggested a tiny adventure—a city ride, just for the fun of it. “Let’s go to a mart,” I said, “not to buy anything, just to wander through the aisles and see all the colorful things on display.” 🌈✨

Sushan, who was probably just as sleepy as I was, smiled and agreed. That’s the thing about him—he’s always up for my silly, spontaneous ideas, even when all he really wants is to call it a night. We bundled up our little one πŸ‘Ά and headed to the nearby city mart. As soon as we got there, we placed our baby in a shopping trolley, his eyes wide with curiosity. With no plan in mind, we slowly meandered through the store, taking him on a tour of the aisles. We showed him the vibrant gift items 🎁, sparkling crockery sets 🍽️, and neatly arranged vessels πŸ₯„. He was fascinated by it all, his little head turning in every direction.

Eventually, we found ourselves in the frozen section, where our little munchkin, who has a special love for paneer, eagerly reached out for a pack of paneer cubes πŸ§€. Sushan and I exchanged a knowing glance and grinned at each other, thinking the same thing—paneer butter masala and parotta for dinner. Yum! πŸ˜‹

By the time we returned home, it was around nine, and the night was wrapping its cozy arms around us. We got to work in the kitchen, whipping up a delicious paneer curry and some perfectly layered parotta. The aroma filled the air, making our cozy home feel even warmer and snugger 🏑❤️.

After gobbling, we retreated to our favorite spot, a snug corner of the house, with cups of coffee in hand ☕. I knew Sushant would’ve much rather skipped the coffee, but he joined me anyway, just to keep the sweet moment going. As we sipped slowly, savoring the moment and watching our baby, now content and sleepy, resting peacefully in the cradle, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of happiness and warmth. The evening that started as a simple escape turned into a heart-melting memory—a perfect end to a lazy day πŸ’–.

Having a bestie like Sushan, who’s willing to go along with late-night adventures even when he’s tired, is like having your own little pocket of sunshine ☀️. He’s always there, with patience and a smile, making even the silliest things feel special. He’s pure bliss, wrapped up in kindness and love, and I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything. πŸ₯°✨
